Subsequently, Timofti participated in events dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of Moldova’s Independence, among which folk parade, held on the Great National Assembly Square.

President Nicolae Timofti today received the accreditation letters from German Ambassador Ulrike Maria Knotz and Lithuanian Ambassador Rimantas Latakas.
This draft is part of the last set of 11 laws, promulgated by the president, for which the government has decided to take responsibility before the parliament.
Timofti said that reforming the judicial system aimed at eradicating corruption. He noted that presently, the magistrates benefited from best conditions for carrying out duties, which obliged them to do their job honestly.
Makino noted that his country would implement new projects on modernisation in the health care, agri-food and energy sectors. At the same time, the programme on providing credits for small and middle enterprises will be continued.
