President Nicolae Timofti has appointed, under presidential decrees, Ruslan Munteanu, Alexandru Jizdan and Alexandru Baltaga as deputy directors of the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS), following a proposal by the SIS director.
A presidential decree was issued in this respect, and the state award was given to the Romanian official “as a sign of deep gratitude for his special contribution to the development and deepening of the Moldovan-Romanian friendship and cooperation ties."
"Only together, working side by side, we can find good solutions to overcome challenges faced by Moldova and to launch our country on an irreversible path of modernisation and development", the public appeal said.
President Nicolae Timofti today received credentials from three ambassadors.
The sides highlighted Moldova's and Romania's willingness to boost political and economic relations, important for the European integration of Moldova and completing joint infrastructure projects.
