The president expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Netherlands for the successful promotion of Moldova’s European integration agenda and thanked, in this context, for the ratification of the Association Agreement by the Dutch parliament.

President Nicolae Timofti today signed a decree appointing Gheorghe Galbura as Deputy Defence Minister.
Congressman Chabot said that Moldova would further benefit from the USA's support, provided that the reforms are continued and the situation in the financial, economic sector and judicial system are improving.

Nicolae Timofti emphasised the need to enhance the defence capacity of the army, by cooperating with other Moldovan security structures, as well as with NATO member states.
