Moldovan president lays flowers at Stefan cel Mare monument

President Nicolae Timofti today laid flowers at the monument to Stefan cel Mare and at the Grieving Mother monument at the "Eternitate" (Eternity) memorial venue. 

Timofti made press statements and congratulated Moldovans on Independence Day. "Once gaining independence, we have become an equal partner for other countries of the world", he said.
