The President of Moldova had a meeting with a Russian delegation

The head of State, Igor Dodon, met today with a delegation from the Russian Federation, headed by the member of the Council of Federation, Elena Mizulina. Valerii Alexeev, president of the International Foundation for Unity of Orthodox Peoples; Elena Milskaya, General Director of "St. Basil the Great" Foundation, and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in our country, Oleg Vasneţov, also attended the meeting. 

The parties expressed their common opinion on the importance of the World Congress of Families, which takes place in Chisinau these days, and in which the Russian guests participate very actively. In this context, Igor Dodon expressed his gratitude to the Russian Federation for supporting our high-level initiatives.

Continuing the discussion, the parties shared their views on the Moldovan-Russian bilateral relations as well as on the home and foreign policy issues of the Republic of Moldova.
