Moldovan President Igor Dodon met with the royal family at the invitation of Sheikh Faisal Bin Sultan Bin Salem Al Qassimi, the Governor of the Emirate of Sharjah (one of seven emirates) from 1972 to the present, a member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, historian, founder of the United Arab Bank , as well as groups of companies from various fields of activity.
Sheikh Faisal Bin Sultan Bin Salem Al Kassimi is a member of the royal family of Al Kassimi, one of six families that manage the UAE, and manages two of the seven emirates: Ras Al Hema and Shariah.
The parties discussed possibilities of implementing large investment projects in Moldova in various fields of activity such as industry, financial sector, construction area and others.
Igor Dodon handed over to Sheikh Faisal Bin Sultan Bin Salem Al Kassimi an invitation to visit our country on an official visit. The Head of State also noted that he had the honor of meeting Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan Bin Salem Al Kassimi last year in Chisinau during a working visit of a businessmen delegation from the United Arab Emirates to Moldova.
