President Maia Sandu had an exchange of views with the Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, Giorgia Meloni, who is on her first visit to the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of the summit. "I greatly appreciate the close cooperation between our countries. Moldova is determined to align with the prosperous and democratic countries of the European bloc, and I am glad that we have strong partners like Italy on our way to the European Union," the head of state emphasized.
