Moldovan head of state designates Pavel Filip for PM office

President Nicolae Timofti today designated acting Information Technology and Communications Minister Pavel Filip for the office of prime minister.

The president’s decision was based on the parliamentary majority’s proposal signed by 55 MPs.

According to the presidential decree, Filip has the authorization to work out a government action programme and cabinet list and present them to the parliament by 29 January 2016.
