President of Moldova to sign Decrees on appointment of Ambassadors to China and Estonia

The President of the country, Igor Dodon, signed the Decrees on the appointment of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova.

Ion Stăvilă will represent our country in the Republic of Estonia. Previously, he led the diplomatic mission of Moldova to Kiev, was Ambassador with special missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.

Dumitru Braghiș, the former Prime Minister of Moldova, will lead the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the People’s Republic of China.

Igor Dodon congratulated both ambassadors on their appointment, wished them success in diplomatic activity, emphasizing the importance of strengthening relations between the Republic of Moldova and China, the Republic of Moldova and Estonia in the trade-economic, humanitarian, information technology, etc.

The head of state expressed his confidence that the collaboration relations with these states, once the new Ambassadors are appointed, will reach a higher quality level, despite the global pandemic crisis.
