Today, the President of the country made a working visit to the city of Taraclia, together with the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliana Yotova, during which they visited the Taraclia State University named after Grigory Tsamblak.
There was a ceremony of signing an agreement on the establishment of an international consortium, which included the University of Rousse (Republic of Bulgaria), the University of Veliko Tyrnovo (Republic of Bulgaria), as well as Taraclia State University named after Grigory Tsamblak (Republic of Moldova).
The purpose of the signed document is the scientific exchange of specialists, the mutual exchange of students, the creation of the conditions necessary in order to strengthen theoretical and practical knowledge and skills; implementation of joint projects, courses and seminars for training, retraining and raising the level of skills of specialists, etc.
The future consortium will allow Taraclia State University to improve the quality of education in order to fully comply with the new education policies. Thus, young people will strive to get education in this university, which will play an important role in attracting and training foreign students.
According to Igor Dodon, one of the important characteristics in the activity of any university is the development of cooperation with international institutions and universities from all over the world.
"I am sure that Taraclia State University named after Grigory Tsamblak, will achieve compliance with regional, national and international requirements of competitiveness, " said the head of state.
