President Nicolae Timofti backs the promotion of Moldovan wines on the domestic and international markets.
In this respect, the head of state today received Romanian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Moldova Marius Lazurca. On this occasion, Timofti conveyed his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis a bottle of wine from the Maluri de Prut (Prut Banks) collection of the Purcari winery.
In this way, President Timofti is willing to express support for Moldovan producers’ efforts to diversify the sales markets, as this helps tighten the security of Moldova’s economy.
