Academy of Public Administration under Moldovan President to be re-organised

President Nicolae Timofti has signed a decree on the reorganisation of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Moldova.

Under the document, “the the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Moldova is reorganised into the Academy of Administrative Studies, which is a public higher education institution, autonomous public law legal entity subordinated to the government, operating under its own statute, approved by the cabinet.”.

The institution’s main objectives will be “to elaborate and implement programmes on professional training and development of staff in the central and local public administration, as well as to carry out studies and scientific researches in the public administration sector.”.

Under the presidential decree, the Academy of Administrative Studies will be financed “from and within the budget allocations, approved for the State Chancellery under the law on state budget for the concerned year.”.
