Moldovan president lays flowers in memory of plane crash victims

President Nicolae Timofti today laid flowers at the residence of the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau as a sign of commemorating the SMURD plane crash victims.

The head of state left a message in the condolence book, opened at the Romanian diplomatic mission.

"In these difficult moments, on behalf of Moldovans and on my own behalf, I express our sympathy to the tragic loss of SMURD heroes, who were dedicated to saving human lives until the last moment", the message reads.
