President Nicolae Timofti today had a meeting with Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu and Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
The officials exchanged opinions on the social and political situation in Moldova and discussed ways of remedying the present problems.
The participants in the meeting tackled the parliament's agenda in the spring and summer session and reviewed the tasks due to be fulfilled by the MPs on this period. The officials emphasised the importance that the parliament adopts the draft laws needed for giving an impetus to the reform processes and enforcing the Association Agreement with the European Union.
President Timofti, Parliament Speaker Candu and Prime Minister Filip agreed to meet periodically to discuss issues on the political and economic agenda of Moldova.
