The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a meeting yesterday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Jeppe Kofod who is on a working visit in Chisinau. The discussion focused on security developments in the country and in the region, but also on topics on the bilateral agenda.
President Maia Sandu and Minister Jeppe Kofod reaffirmed their support for Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity, and expressed hope in finding viable solutions for restoring peace. In this context, the Danish official appreciated the effort of the authorities and citizens of the Republic of Moldova in ensuring optimal conditions for the hundreds of thousands of refugees who have taken refuge in our country. The interlocutors agreed on strengthening the cooperation related to renewable energy, cybersecurity and media.
