Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
The Head of State met today with the EU delegation to the Republic of Moldova-European Union Parliamentary Association Committee, led by Mr. Siegfried Muresan. President Maia Sandu discussed with the members of the delegation the country's European agenda and the actions taken by the authorities to meet the conditions formulated by the European Commission.
The Head of State spoke about the efforts, successes and obstacles in reforming the justice system. The discussion also focused on the energy crisis and the country's immediate needs to deal with it, as well as the medium-term plans for ensuring the country's energy security.
President Maia Sandu thanked her partners in Brussels for their support in helping our country to become a candidate for EU membership and for their financial support during the past months.
