President Igor Dodon had a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Moldova Farit Mukhametshin today.
The sides approached issues related to the development of Moldovan-Russian cooperation relations, especially, following first official visit by the president to Russia.
Dodon appreciated that the commitments agreed in Moscow as regards migrants and export resumption had started to carry out. The head of state noted that in the near future, a group of experts from Russia would visit the country in order to inspect the enterprises for resuming exports of Moldovan products to Russia, as well as to increase the number of categories of products and companies which would export on the Russian market.
Also, the president welcomed that in Moscow it was working hard to exclude the restrictions on about 50,000 Moldovans who were debarred from entering Russia.
The sides set to boost the cooperation relations in all the areas of common interest, including in terms of culture and education.
