On the eve of the Bright Resurrection, the president and his wife handed the keys to the new house to the Ursu family from the village of Yermokliya in the Stefan Voda district.
"Spouses Lydia and Vyacheslav Ursu bring up 15 children - 11 boys and 4 girls, and this month the birth of their 16th child is expected. The house in which the family used to live was in an emergency condition, with all the children huddled in two rooms. Some of them slept on the mattress on the floor. Having learned about the situation of the Ursu family, my wife and I decided to help them. And thanks to the support of the First Lady "Din Suflet" Charity Fund, they bought a spacious house for them, which they dreamed of, "Igor Dodon said.
The head of state and the First Lady also gave the family gifts, cakes and food for the festive table.
The President of the country wished the family happy holidays and assured that he would continue to be near them.
