Președintele Republicii Moldova, Nicolae Timofti, a avut astăzi, 1 iulie a.c., la Sofia, o întrevedere cu președintele Republicii Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, în cadrul vizitei oficiale pe care o întreprinde în această țară la invitația omologului său bulgar.
Un proiect de lege în acest sens a fost aprobat astăzi de către Guvernul Republicii Moldova, prin hotărârea nr. 487 din 28 iunie 2014, transmisă Președintelui Republicii Moldova.
Ambasadorul Republicii Franceze, Gerard Guillonneau, a salutat semnarea astăzi, la Bruxelles, a Acordului de Asociere dintre Republica Moldova și Uniunea Europeană, exprimându-și convingerea că cetățenii moldoveni vor valorifica această oportunitate istorică de a se ralia familiei popoarelor europene.
„Apropierea de Uniunea Europeană înseamnă mai multe locuri de muncă, salarii și pensii mai mari, dar și garanția respectării drepturilor și libertăților omului”.
Distincția a fost acordată în semn de „înaltă apreciere a meritelor deosebite în dezvoltarea învățământului preuniversitar în domeniul ocrotirii sănătății, pentru contribuție substanțială la pregătirea specialiștilor medicali de înaltă calificare și activitate metodico-didactică prodigioasă”.
Șeful statului și-a exprimat convingerea că semnarea Acordului de Asociere cu Uniunea Europeană va impulsiona colaborarea bilaterală în toate domeniile.
