Președintele Republicii Moldova, Igor Dodon, a întreprins o vizită în orașul Bălți – capitala de nord a Moldovei – cu prilejul celebrării a 74 de ani de la eliberarea orașului de sub ocupația fascistă.

Președintele Republicii Moldova, Igor Dodon, a avut o întrevedere cu Şeful Delegaţiei UE în Republica Moldova, Peter Michalko, în cadrul căreia au fost abordate subiecte cu privire la cooperarea bilaterală și multilaterală, politica internă și externă a țării, situația actuală din Moldova.
Aflat în vizită pe Sfîntul Munte Athos, Igor Dodon a vizitat Mănăstirea Zografu unde se păstrează steagul de luptă al Moldovei și o icoană a Sfîntului Gheorghe, dăruite de Ștefan cel Mare în 1502.
În cadrul vizitei pe Sfîntul Munte Athos, la Mănăstirea rusescă Sfîntul Pantelimon, Președintele Republicii Moldova, Igor Dodon a avut o întrevedere cu președintele Organizației Internaționale pentru Familie, Brian Brown.
Igor Dodon a transmis o adresare importantă cetățenilor Republicii Moldova de a nu coparticipa la evenimentele preconizate pe data de 25 martie sau la acțiuni de contraprotest în fața unioniștilor.
În cursul vizitei pe Muntele Athos, Igor Dodon, Președintele țării a avut o întrevedere cu Starețul Efrem al Sfintei Mănăstiri Vatopedi.
Președintele țării întreprinde o vizită scurtă în Republica Elenă, pe Muntele Athos, pentru a participa la evenimentul de creare a organizației internaționale „Prietenii Ortodoxiei” în cadrul căreia va ocupa funcția de co-președinte.
