President Nicolae Timofti today laid flowers at the bust of poet Mihai Eminescu on the Classics Alley, on the occasion of the writer’s 165th anniversary.
Timofti, accompanied by Secretary General of the Administration of the President Ion Paduraru and advisors to the president, participated in a cultural-artistic event dedicated to Mihai Eminescu, held within the National Culture Day.
Attending the event also were Acting Prime Minister prim Iurie Leanca, cabinet members, MPs, political leaders and culture people.
