President of Moldova Igor Dodon held a working meeting with the head of the EU delegation to Moldova, Peter Michalko. The sides discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, foreign and domestic policy of the country, and current situation in Moldova. The forthcoming local elections in Chisinau and Balti, and parliamentary elections planned for the fall of this year were also discussed.
The chief of the state supported the activation of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union in order to implement a number of projects of mutual interest in various fields.
Also, President Igor Dodon reminded his position that the Republic of Moldova should maintain and develop partnership with the European Union, while restoring good relations with the Russian Federation.
