The head of state met today with several Spanish opinion leaders, who are on a study visit to the Republic of Moldova. President Maia Sandu spoke about our country's determination to become a member of the European Union in the near future and emphasized that we count on the support of the Kingdom of Spain, which will take over the EU presidency from the 1st of July.
At the same time, the President stressed that our country is carrying out wide-ranging reforms, modernising and strengthening its capacities to face the constant hybrid attacks from Russia. The Republic of Moldova can survive as a democracy only as part of the European family.
