President of Moldova to attend Military parade in Moscow

President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon attended the military parade that took place today in Moscow on Red Square in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The President of Moldova, together with the Presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, welcomed the parade calculations from different countries, which marched across Red Square, symbolizing the common victory of the countries of the former Soviet Union and Europe over fascism.

“I am totally proud to see there 75 military from the Guard of Honor of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova,” the head of state emphasized.

23 of them had their grandfathers who fought on the fields of the Great Patriotic War, so today's participation of our servicemen emphasizes the direct connection between generations and reminds us of the importance of preserving the memory of the exploits of our ancestors.
